Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 students
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback and support
  • Create a positive learning environment conducive to the development of young learners
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure student welfare and academic success
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Relevant degree in Education or related field
  • Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and assessment procedures
  • Understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Key Stage 1

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and resources

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience with special educational needs (SEN) students

Working Conditions:

  • Work primarily within a school setting
  • Regular working hours with occasional evening or weekend commitments
  • Interaction with students, parents, and school staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
