Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 students
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback and support
- Create a positive learning environment conducive to the development of young learners
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure student welfare and academic success
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Relevant degree in Education or related field
- Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and assessment procedures
- Understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Key Stage 1
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Proficiency in using educational technology and resources
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience with special educational needs (SEN) students
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily within a school setting
- Regular working hours with occasional evening or weekend commitments
- Interaction with students, parents, and school staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
