Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop educational programmes
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching Key Stage 1 students is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
  • Effective classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)

Working Conditions:

This role involves working with young children in a school setting. The teacher may need to adapt to different learning styles and abilities within the classroom.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
