Job Duties
- Delivering engaging and interactive lessons to Key Stage 1 (KS1) students
- Planning and preparing lessons in accordance with the national curriculum
- Assessing and monitoring students' progress, providing constructive feedback
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Managing classroom behaviour and promoting a culture of respect and discipline
- Collaborating with other teachers and school staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Communicating with parents and guardians regarding students' academic performance
- Organising and participating in extracurricular activities, such as school trips and events
- Keeping accurate records of students' attendance, grades, and other relevant information
Required Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the United Kingdom
- Relevant degree in Education or a related field
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting
- Experience working with Key Stage 1 (KS1) students
- Familiarity with the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong knowledge of pedagogical theories and teaching methods for Key Stage 1 (KS1)
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital resources
- Strong organisational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualification in Education or a related field
- Experience in implementing special educational needs (SEN) strategies
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection policies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
