Looking for a KS1 Primary Teacher role in Gateshead where you can truly make an impact and potentially secure a permanent contract?

This welcoming one-form entry primary school, with around 210 pupils, is seeking a Year 2 teacher to join their experienced KS1 team. The school has a strong phonics focus, clear routines, and a supportive Headteacher who is actively involved in day-to-day school life.

Initially offered on a supply basis, the school has made it clear that for the right teacher, this could move into a full-time, permanent role.

The Role:

• Full responsibility for a Year 2 class

• Delivering structured phonics and core curriculum lessons

• Monitoring pupil attainment

• Maintaining a calm and nurturing classroom
