Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons to Key Stage 1 students
  • Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Strong classroom management skills

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development and pedagogical approaches
  • Ability to use technology in the classroom
  • Evaluation and assessment skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school setting during regular school hours. Occasional attendance at evening events or meetings may be required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
