KS1 Class Teacher (Year 1 & 2)
Job Title: KS1 Class Teacher
Location: Watford, Hertfordshire, NW London
Start Date: September 2025
Job Type: Full Time, Long term, Term-to-Perm
Salary: £185 - £285 per day
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom where every child can thrive
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching as needed
- Work collaboratively with TAs, SENCOs, and leadership teams
- Foster strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent experience teaching KS1 in a UK primary setting
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and phonics schemes
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
