KS1 Class Teacher – Sheffield

Contract: Long-term, full-time
Salary: £140 to £190 per day (PAYE)

We’re supporting a primary school in Sheffield who are looking for an experienced and confident KS1 teacher to join their team. The school offers a calm, structured environment with strong leadership and a supportive staff community. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone who values consistency, high standards, and a well-organised KS1 phase.

The role includes:
• Full class teaching responsibility within KS1
• Delivering high-quality lessons that support progress and engagement
• Working closely with the year group team to plan, assess, and moderate
• Establishing clear routines and strong relationships with pupils
• Contributing to the wider school community where needed

The school are looking for:
• A teacher with UK QTS and experience within KS1
• Strong classroom management and a calm, confident approach
• A clear understanding of phonics, early literacy, and KS1 curriculum expectations
• Someone who is organised, reliable, and committed to maintaining a high standard of teaching
