Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our vibrant team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, fostering a love of learning in our young students.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to Key Stage 2 students.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students' social, emotional, and academic development.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable targets.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity of learning and a cohesive approach to the curriculum.
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on student progress and well-being.
- Contribute to the wider school community, participating in events, meetings, and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 students desirable
- Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
