Key Stage 2 Teacher

Protocol Education are currently working with a range of Primary Schools in Hackney who are looking for motivated Teachers to join them on a full-time basis in September 2024.

We are looking for passionate and reliable teachers who have a real passion for working with KS2 pupils.

A strong knowledge of Phonics and the KS2 curriculum will be vital for these roles.

A strong knowledge of the SAT's curriculum would be highly beneficial.

These roles will typically start by working via the agency and then progress to a full-time position at the school after a year or sooner.

We will support you throughout your placement and be on hand to offer guidance and support for the duration of the school year.

Salary:

£188 - £240 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 2 students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement curriculum
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development and school events

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with Key Stage 2 students
  • Knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Key Stage 1

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Specialist training in Key Stage 2 education

Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a school setting, following term-time schedules and participating in school events and meetings. The teacher may need to adapt to the needs of Key Stage 1 students and collaborate with fellow educators.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
