Protocol Education are working with an Ofsted rated 'Good' Primary School in the heart of Cambridge to appoint a caring teaching assistant to their team.  The role will initially be working within the Reception team supporting the learning, social, communication and emotional needs of pupils.  The role will involve supporting children 1:1, in small groups and will contribute to raising standards of achievement for all pupils. 

The position will commence in April 2023 with earlier start dates available.

We would be particularly interested in hearing from applicants who:

  • have experience in or a desire to work in Early Years/KS1 
  • have experience of successfully  supporting children with learning difficulties or a desire to do so and/or
  • have experience of successfully supporting children with social, emotional and mental health needs or a desire to do so
  • have a good rapport with children and are able to engage them in learning
  • are able to promote the aims and values of the school
  • are able to work flexibly as part of a team with drive and passion to ensure that all children achieve

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
