About Us:

Protocol Education is a reputable education provider dedicated to delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to primary school students. We work with a network of schools in Leeds to provide reliable and skilled supply teachers to cover short-term absences, planned teacher absence, or additional support needs. As we continue to expand our team, we are seeking passionate and adaptable Key Stage 1 Primary Supply Teachers to join us on a flexible basis.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide engaging and effective teaching and learning experiences for Key Stage 1 students across a variety of schools and settings.
  • Follow lesson plans and instructions provided by the regular classroom teacher, adapting as necessary to meet the needs of the students.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
  • Support students' academic and personal development by providing feedback and encouragement.
  • Communicate effectively with school staff, including providing feedback on the day's activities and any issues encountered.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and report back to the agency as required.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 students, preferably within a primary school setting.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work effectively with different school policies and procedures.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to establish rapport with students quickly.
  • Flexibility and availability to accept positions on short notice.
  • Reliable and professional demeanour with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to different schools within the designated area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
