Salary: £188 - £220 Per day

Job Description:

As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to primary school students within the designated age range. Your primary focus will be on planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of young learners. You will create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes educational development and well-being.

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the national curriculum
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practises
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and parent-teacher conferences

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching Key Stage 1 students

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)

Working Conditions:

You will work full-time hours as per the school timetable. This position is on a contract basis starting in September 2024.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
