Intervention Teacher

Location: Halifax
Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £650 - 750 per week
Job Published: about 1 year ago

I am currently recruiting on behalf of two mainstream Primary Academies part of a larger Multi Academy Trust who are looking to appoint a Key Stage 2 specialist teacher to deliver interventions across Year 5 & 6 for the rest of the Academic year. This role has immediate start for the right candidate.

The expectation is that you will provide cover in the morning with a mixed Year 5/6 group who have a mixed range of needs. Then in the afternoon you will be working with a small group of Year 6 students in one of their other Academies.

Although very close to each other (9 minutes drive) a driving license and access to your own car is essential.

This person will have to work to an extremely high standard and be flexible as the needs of both schools are quite different.

This would be the ideal role for someone wanting to continue teaching and doing the job they love but who for whatever reason cannot commit to teaching a full class of students full time.

The school are open to teachers with varied experience however you must have QTS in the UK or equivalent overseas qualification and be confident with the upper Key Stage 2 curriculum and expectations for these year groups.

The school are looking for someone to take on the full class teacher role, and would like to appoint ASAP so if you would like to know more about this position then please get in touch with your CV and interest to jon.geraghty@protocol-education.com or apply directly to this advert.
