Intervention Specialist – Uxbridge (Primary)

Are you passionate about accelerating pupil progress and helping children close learning gaps? A fantastic primary school in Uxbridge is looking for an experienced Intervention Specialist to deliver high-impact support across KS1 and KS2.

The Role
• Delivering targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions in reading, phonics, writing and maths
• Supporting pupils with SEND needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and EAL
• Planning focused sessions that raise attainment and build confidence
• Monitoring and tracking pupils’ progress to show clear impact
• Working closely with class teachers, SENCO and SLT to identify next steps
• Helping pupils regulate, stay motivated and develop learning resilience

What I’m Looking For
• Strong experience delivering interventions in a primary school — essential
• Confident in phonics, reading fluency and maths reasoning
• Able to differentiate and tailor learning to individual needs
• Calm, proactive, organised and confident supporting SEND
• Someone positive who builds strong relationships quickly
• Passionate about improving outcomes for children
