Intervention Specialist – Hayes (Primary)

Are you passionate about driving pupil progress and closing learning gaps? A fantastic primary school in Hayes is looking for an experienced Intervention Specialist to deliver targeted academic support across KS1 and KS2.

The Role
• Deliver focused 1:1 and small-group interventions in reading, phonics, writing and maths
• Support pupils with SEND needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and EAL
• Plan structured sessions that accelerate progress and boost attainment
• Track and monitor pupils’ development alongside class teachers
• Work closely with the SENCO and SLT to identify priority pupils
• Help pupils regulate, stay on task and develop positive learning habits

• Strong experience delivering primary interventions — essential
• Confident with phonics, reading fluency and maths reasoning
• Ability to tailor sessions to individual and group needs
• Calm, proactive, organised and SEND-aware
• Someone positive who builds trust quickly
• Passionate about improving outcomes for children
