We’re looking for a kind, calm, and committed Inclusion Support Assistant to join a primary school team that’s serious about supporting all pupils to feel seen, valued, and included.

This is a role that’s all about making a difference—working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who need extra guidance to feel part of the classroom, whether due to SEN, emotional needs, or social challenges.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, both in class and during less structured times

  • Helping children build confidence, resilience, and routines that help them succeed

  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to tailor support strategies

  • Creating a safe, encouraging environment where every child can take part and feel proud of their progress

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience supporting children with SEND, SEMH or learning barriers

  • Can bring positivity, patience, and a flexible mindset

  • Understands how to help children regulate emotions and stay engaged

  • Thrives in a team, but can take initiative and think on their feet

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
