Immediate Start Teaching Assistant

What you’ll be doing

You’ll work with pupils in lessons, help them stay on task and support teachers with classroom routines. Every day looks a little different, and you’ll quickly become an important part of the school community.

Your responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils with classwork and group activities
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and participation
  • Helping with classroom setup and simple admin tasks
  • Providing reassurance to pupils who need extra guidance
  • Working alongside teachers and support teams

What you’ll bring

  • Experience with young people, either in school or elsewhere
  • A friendly, patient approach
  • Good communication and teamwork
  • An enhanced DBS or willingness to apply
