The Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated ICT Teacher to join our talented faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons in Information and Communication Technology to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and develop students' skills in a rapidly evolving digital world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality ICT lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Develop and implement a broad and balanced curriculum that meets national standards.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to motivate and engage students.
  • Maintain a safe and conducive learning environment.
  • Support the school’s ethos and contribute to extracurricular activities.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in ICT education and integrate new technologies into the classroom.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience teaching ICT at the secondary school level is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the ICT curriculum and assessment standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for technology and a commitment to continuous professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
