Humanities Teacher – History and/or Geography
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Daily Rate: £163–£263
Protocol Education is seeking a Humanities Teacher to join a secondary school in Newcastle that values discussion-based learning, critical thinking and broad curriculum access.
The school encourages respectful dialogue and inclusive teaching, with strong relationships between staff and students. It offers a supportive environment and is well served by public transport.
Role responsibilities:

Teaching History and/or Geography across KS3 and KS4

Planning engaging lessons that promote analysis and debate

Assessing progress and supporting exam preparation

Creating an inclusive and positive classroom environment
Candidate requirements:

QTS or equivalent

Experience teaching Humanities subjects at secondary level

A passion for your subject and for supporting young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
