This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Humanities Teacher to join a vibrant and forward-thinking Humanities Department in January 2023

The ideal candidate must be able to motive and challenge students to produce the highest quality work and be comfortable teaching Humanities to students up to Key Stage 5.

This post is suitable for teachers who are both experience and newly qualified, a practitioner who is genuinely passionate about the subject area.

The secondary school is a friendly institution with a strong culture of traditional values that values teamwork and high achievement in all areas of work with the students.

Humanities Teacher Responsibilities:

  • ECT qualification or equivalent 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to produce high quality experience and outcomes for students
  • Collaborative teaching methods and ability to work with colleagues in the preparation, assessment, and monitoring of work
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students and staff
  • Basic IT knowledge
