Humanities Graduate – History / Geography Support

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Daily Rate: £90–£110

Protocol Education is seeking a Humanities Graduate to work in a secondary school in Newcastle as an Academic Mentor or Classroom Support Assistant.

This role is ideal for graduates considering teacher training, museum education or education policy. The school values discussion-based learning and critical thinking and is well served by public transport.

The role includes:

  • Supporting History and/or Geography lessons

  • Delivering small-group academic interventions

  • Supporting literacy and essay writing skills

  • Encouraging critical thinking and discussion

This role would suit graduates who:

  • Hold a degree in History, Geography or a related subject

  • Are confident working with young people

  • Are interested in education or teaching careers
