HLTA / Senior Teaching Assistant – Camden

Are you an experienced TA ready for more responsibility? A high-performing Camden primary school is recruiting a confident HLTA or Senior Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 2 team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your leadership skills, gain classroom experience, and make a real contribution to pupil progress. The school has a culture of developing staff from within, with many support staff going on to teacher training or leadership roles.

Your role will include:

  • Leading small group interventions in literacy and maths.

  • Covering classes during teacher absence or PPA, using provided plans.

  • Supporting pupils with SEND, ensuring lessons are accessible and inclusive.

  • Assisting with assessment and feedback to support teacher planning.

  • Helping to organise enrichment activities and trips.

You’ll need:

  • HLTA qualification or extensive classroom experience at senior TA level.
