About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of a friendly and inclusive primary school in Cambridge seeking a reliable HLTA/Cover Supervisor to join their team. The role involves leading whole-class cover, supporting interventions, and contributing to the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons when teachers are absent (work provided)

  • Lead small-group interventions in core subjects

  • Support behaviour inside and outside the classroom

  • Follow safeguarding procedures and promote pupil wellbeing

  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team

What We're Looking For:

  • HLTA qualification or proven class cover experience

  • Confident leading groups or full classes independently

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Ability to quickly build rapport with pupils

  • A calm, positive and flexible approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
