Your new role

Protocol Education are currently working with client schools in Kent to find enthusiastic unqualified teachers who have previous teaching experience or are an ECT. The schools we work with are looking for candidates who are able to provide cover throughout the school, both on a daily basis or being placed within a class for a longer term basis to cover in the absence of the teacher.

Candidates should hold a HLTA qualification or have previously worked as an unqualified teacher. Graduates looking to get into teaching could also be considered.

Pay is dependant on experience and role requirements; i.e. planning and preparation. 

Candidates must live in and hold the Right to Work in the UK.
All candidates will need a DBS on the update service or be wiling to make a new application.

You should:

• Be engaging and innovative 
• Be passionate about children’s development
• Have a good knowledge of the National Curriculum 

The candidate will:
• Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to process a new application
• Hold the Right to Work in the UK
• Be able to provide two references covering the last 2 years.
