An Ofsted rated 'Good' school in Shropshire are currently looking for Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). In the mornings, your role will involve helping the teacher to manage behaviour and working 1:1/in small groups supporting children with their learning. As a HLTA, afternoons will then involve following the plans of teachers and teaching whole classes.

The school have high expectations of pupils and staff are extremely supportive. They have a diverse and varied curriculum and are committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children in their care.

A successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) applicant will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status or a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification
  • Be flexible in their practice
  • Be positive, reflective and resilient
  • Have strong behaviour management skills and be able to build positive working relationships with pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
