History Teacher - Long-Term Role

We’re working with a fantastic secondary school in Bradford who are on the lookout for a passionate History Teacher to join their team right away. This long-term role gives you the opportunity to embed yourself into the school community, inspire curious minds and create those lightbulb moments that stay with students forever.


What you’ll be doing

  • Delivering engaging lessons across KS3-KS4 (and KS5 if you’re keen)
  • Bringing historical events, figures and themes to life in the classroom
  • Helping students see the links between past and present
  • Using creativity and storytelling to spark curiosity and debate
  • Supporting students in exam preparation while nurturing critical thinking

What we’re looking for

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching History at secondary level
  • A dynamic teaching style that inspires and challenges students
  • Strong classroom management with a positive, inclusive approach
  • A love of storytelling and connecting the past to today’s world

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
