History Teacher - Long-Term Role

We’re working with a fantastic secondary school in Bradford who are on the lookout for a passionate History Teacher to join their team right away. This long-term role gives you the opportunity to embed yourself into the school community, inspire curious minds and create those lightbulb moments that stay with students forever.
✨ What you’ll be doing
- Delivering engaging lessons across KS3-KS4 (and KS5 if you’re keen)
- Bringing historical events, figures and themes to life in the classroom
- Helping students see the links between past and present
- Using creativity and storytelling to spark curiosity and debate
- Supporting students in exam preparation while nurturing critical thinking
What we’re looking for
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching History at secondary level
- A dynamic teaching style that inspires and challenges students
- Strong classroom management with a positive, inclusive approach
- A love of storytelling and connecting the past to today’s world

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
