We are working with a well-regarded and forward-thinking secondary school in Redbridge that is seeking a talented and enthusiastic History Teacher to join their dedicated team on a supply basis.
The school offers a supportive environment with a strong focus on high-quality teaching, collaborative planning, and excellent student outcomes.
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering high-quality History lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
- Developing and implementing engaging and challenging schemes of work
- Assessing and monitoring student progress
- Providing feedback and support to help students achieve their full potential
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective curriculum
- Organising and leading extracurricular History activities and events
You’ll need:
- A degree in History or a related subject
- Experience teaching History to KS3 and KS4 students
- Familiarity with the UK curriculum
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
