Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: MPS/UPS (Outer London), dependent on experience
We are seeking to appoint a passionate and knowledgeable Teacher of History to join our successful Humanities faculty at a thriving secondary school in the London Borough of Redbridge.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT or an experienced teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality History lessons and inspiring a love of the subject in young people.
The Role
The successful candidate will:

Teach History across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available for suitable candidates)

Plan and deliver engaging, well-sequenced lessons that promote curiosity and critical thinking

Use assessment effectively to support progress and raise attainment

Contribute positively to the Humanities department and wider school community

Support students of all abilities to achieve strong outcomes
The Ideal Candidate Will

Hold QTS (or be on track to achieve it)

Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for History

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
