A brand new term is nearly here and our Leeds partner schools are looking for a passionate History Teacher who can bring the past to life and help students make sense of the world around them. If you love storytelling, big questions and sparking curiosity, this January opportunity could be perfect.
You will be joining supportive secondary schools where thoughtful teaching and strong relationships go hand in hand. If you enjoy creating engaging lessons, exploring diverse perspectives and encouraging students to think critically, we would love to speak with you.
What you will be doing

Planning and delivering engaging History lessons across KS3 and KS4

Helping students build strong analytical and evaluative skills

Creating a safe, inclusive and purposeful classroom environment

Adapting teaching to meet a range of needs and abilities

Working collaboratively with your department to inspire progress and confidence
What we are looking for

QTS or a relevant teaching qualification

Experience teaching History in secondary schools

A confident communicator who can make complex topics accessible and interesting

Someone who builds positive relationships quickly

Organised, reflective and committed to helping students succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
