Exciting Opportunity for a Teacher of History – Starting September 2025

Protocol Education is working with a forward-thinking secondary school to find a dedicated Teacher of History to join their Humanities department in September 2025. This role is open to ECTs and experienced teachers alike, with a preference for candidates who can also teach Geography.

About The Role:
As a Teacher of History, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Foster a deep understanding of historical events, cultural change, and geographical concepts.
- Encourage critical thinking, debate, and analytical skills in the classroom.
- Support students’ academic and personal development in a diverse and inclusive environment.
- Take an active role in the school’s enrichment programmes and Humanities-focused projects.

What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a passion for History.
- Ability to teach Geography as a second subject is highly desirable.
- Someone who brings energy, positivity, and a commitment to student success.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire curiosity and critical thinking.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
