✨ About the Role ✨
As a History Teacher, you will have the chance to teach students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, inspiring them to explore the complexities of the past and understand its impact on the present. Your lessons will engage students in historical analysis, storytelling, and critical debate, fostering a deeper appreciation for history’s relevance in today’s world.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering engaging and thought-provoking History lessons that challenge students to think critically
Planning and delivering high-quality lessons, ensuring a stimulating and inclusive environment
Encouraging students to engage with historical events, figures, and perspectives from different eras
Supporting students in developing their analytical and research skills through historical inquiry and discussion
Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their full potential
About You
We are looking for a History teacher who:
Has a passion for history and a deep desire to share that passion with students
Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a relevant degree in History or a related field
Has experience teaching History at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (ideal, but not essential)
Is dynamic, creative, and able to make history engaging and relevant for students
Has strong communication and classroom management skills
Is dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment where all students can thrive
