Job Title: History Teacher

Job Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging history lessons to SEN students
- Develop and implement lesson plans in line with Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plan
- Assess and evaluate student progress regularly
- Provide support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Specialism in History
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Degree in History or related field
- Demonstrated experience teaching History at the secondary level
- Experience working with students with SEN, ASD and SEMH
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Additional training in special educational needs
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with regular school hours
- Work primarily within a classroom setting
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
