History Teacher – Middlesbrough

We’re working with a secondary school in the Middlesbrough area that is seeking a highly motivated and experienced History Teacher to join their team. This is a great opportunity to teach History across KS3 and KS4 within a supportive department that values engaging, high-quality teaching and collaborative working.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering high-quality History lessons to KS3 and KS4

  • Developing and implementing engaging, challenging schemes of work

  • Assessing, tracking, and monitoring student progress

  • Providing meaningful feedback and support to help students reach their full potential

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective curriculum

  • Organising and contributing to extracurricular History activities and enrichment opportunities

We’d Love to Hear From You If You:

  • Hold a degree in History or a related subject

  • Have experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4

  • Are familiar with the UK curriculum

  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team

  • Hold (or are working towards) UK QTS
