Inspire young minds, shape confident thinkers and build futures in an ambitious, vibrant secondary school in Bristol

Are you a passionate History educator who loves seeing students grapple with the past and make sense of the world they live in? We’re seeking an enthusiastic, highly skilled History Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school committed to academic excellence, intellectual curiosity and the personal growth of every student.

Why join us?

A Curriculum with Purpose – You’ll teach a History programme designed to develop critical thinkers who can analyse evidence, ask incisive questions and communicate with confidence. Our approach values chronological understanding, interpretation of sources and meaningful engagement with diverse narratives, including traditionally under-represented voices.
A Truly Inclusive Community – Our students come from a rich variety of backgrounds and cultures. You’ll work in an environment where every young person’s voice and perspective matters, and where lessons connect learning with students’ lives and communities.
Professional Development & Collaborative Practice – We believe teaching is both an art and a craft. Teachers benefit from structured coaching, co-planning time and ongoing development to refine pedagogy and grow in expertise.
First-Class Facilities – Modern learning spaces, specialist classrooms and excellent amenities support energetic teaching and enrich the student experience.
Holistic Education Ethos – Academic success goes hand-in-hand with pastoral care, character building and opportunities beyond the classroom through a broad co-curricular offer.
