The role
As a History Teacher, you will:

Teach History across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities available for suitable candidates)

Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that develop historical knowledge, analysis, and evaluation skills

Differentiate effectively to support pupils of mixed abilities, including those with SEND
-
Maintain a positive and purposeful learning environment

Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
-
Work collaboratively within the Humanities department and wider staff team
This role is suitable for ECTs, experienced teachers, and those returning to the profession.
We’re looking for someone who:

Holds QTS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification)

Has experience teaching History in UK secondary schools

Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and confident classroom management
