We’re working with a friendly secondary school in Middlesbrough seeking a dedicated History teacher to join their team. The Humanities department is collaborative, well-resourced, and values clear routines and engaging lessons.
This role is ideal for an experienced History teacher or an ECT looking for strong departmental support.
What you’ll be doing

Teaching History across KS3 and KS4

Helping students develop analytical thinking and exam skills

Delivering engaging lessons that encourage discussion and curiosity

Working closely with a supportive Humanities team
What we’re looking for

UK QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification

Strong knowledge of the History curriculum

Confident classroom management

An enthusiastic, organised approach to teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
