We’re working with a friendly secondary school in Middlesbrough seeking a dedicated History teacher to join their team. The Humanities department is collaborative, well-resourced, and values clear routines and engaging lessons.

This role is ideal for an experienced History teacher or an ECT looking for strong departmental support.

What you’ll be doing

  • Teaching History across KS3 and KS4

  • Helping students develop analytical thinking and exam skills

  • Delivering engaging lessons that encourage discussion and curiosity

  • Working closely with a supportive Humanities team

What we’re looking for

  • UK QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • Strong knowledge of the History curriculum

  • Confident classroom management

  • An enthusiastic, organised approach to teaching
