Protocol Education are working on behalf a Birmingham Secondary school to appoint a History teacher. This is a full-time position to begin in September 2023.

The school is recruiting for a history teacher who has a clear passion for the subject and will inspire, motivate and challenge pupils across all abilities. The successful candidate will be able to deliver History at both KS3 and KS4. They will demonstrate excellent subject and curriculum knowledge, have high expectations of pupils and enjoy collaborating as part of a dynamic team.

The successful History teacher will join a friendly and supportive Humanities department who look forward to welcoming you into the school community. This is the perfect position for an ECT or an experienced teacher of history and we would encourage teachers at every stage of their career to apply

Requirements to apply for this role:

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT).
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Be an excellent practitioner with high expectations for all pupils.
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed and forward-thinking team.
• A passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
• A strong grasp of national curriculum.
• Knowledge and understanding of the effective inclusion of all children, and of the factors which support high achievement in school for all pupils.
