A well-regarded secondary school in Sunderland in recruiting for a History Teacher for work from January 2023 until July 2023, although there is opportunity to begin immediately for the right candidate. This is a full-time role.

You will join a supportive department of 3, delivering history to KS3 and KS4. The position has arisen as a result of an internal promotion.

The school is located in the Washington area of Sunderland. It is easily accessible by both  public transport and for drivers commuting from the A1 and A19.  This is an OFSTED graded good school.

In order to be considered for this role you will:

  • Have experience teaching History to KS4
  • Hold QTS or equivalent
  • Be able available to work on a full time basis from at least January 2023.
  • Hold the right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
