My client located in Newham are looking for a committed and dedicated History Teacher on a long-term basis. Located closely to local transport links, you will be based in a new building with fantastic facilities. You will be joining a team that is committed to providing staff with high quality and professional development.

The desired History Teacher will be expected to maximise student’s performance whilst implementing necessary teaching techniques to support students who require extra help. You can expect an abundance of support from the current faculty.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an experienced History teacher with great subject knowledge.
  • Be a qualified teacher with QTS
  • Have experience of teaching History in a previous role.
  • Have an updated CV
  • Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels, keeping standards high.
  • Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example.
  • Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with excellent behaviour management strategies.
  • Hold a valid and current DBS

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
