Pay: £130–£150 per day for day-to-day, pay to scale for long-term (M1–M6)

Protocol Education are looking for qualified Design & Technology Teachers to support secondary schools across North Somerset. This role suits practical, organised teachers who enjoy flexibility and hands-on learning. Whether you're looking to gain varied experience during your ECT years or explore different school settings before committing long term, this flexible role allows you to teach in local schools that suit your location and schedule. Our educators work day-to-day (anywhere between 2 and 5 days per week depending on your location and preferences), and frequently find long-term roles within weeks of joining us.

What the job looks like
• Teaching DT across KS3 and KS4
• Delivering pre-set lessons and practical activities
• Managing workshops safely and confidently
• Supporting pupils with structure and encouragement
• Reporting back to staff

Requirements
• UK QTS
• Experience teaching DT in UK secondary schools
• Strong classroom and workshop management
• Flexible, calm and reliable
