The Role

  • Deliver engaging whole-class lessons in the teacher’s absence

  • Support interventions and booster groups across EYFS, KS1, and KS2

  • Work collaboratively with teachers and SLT to raise standards and improve pupil progress

  • Provide targeted support for pupils with SEN, EAL, or additional needs

  • Assist with planning, preparation, marking, and assessments as required

  • Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom culture that encourages all pupils to achieve


About You

  • Hold an HLTA qualification (or equivalent relevant classroom experience)

  • Confident in delivering lessons and managing a classroom independently

  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and child development

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Able to adapt quickly, use initiative, and maintain a calm approach under pressure

  • A positive team player who enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues
