Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Catholic Primary School in Harrow, ASAP start, Full Time

We’re supporting a welcoming Catholic primary school in the heart of Harrow, and they’re looking for a confident HLTA who’s happy to step into classes across all year groups. If you enjoy variety, value a nurturing school ethos and bring that calm, can-do energy children naturally gravitate towards, this role could be a lovely fit.

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing flexible cover across EYFS, KS1 and KS2

  • Leading small group interventions and occasional whole-class teaching

  • Helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment rooted in the school’s Catholic values

  • Working closely with teachers and support staff to keep learning flowing smoothly

What the school is looking for

  • HLTA experience or Level 4 qualification

  • Confidence leading groups and whole classes

  • Warm communication and strong teamwork

  • Someone who enjoys the buzz of supporting different year groups

  • A willingness to support the Catholic ethos of the school
