Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Primary School, Colchester

We are working with a welcoming primary school in Colchester who are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team.

About the Role:

  • Provide whole-class cover in the absence of the teacher

  • Support learning across the school, working closely with teachers and the leadership team

  • Deliver interventions and small group work to raise attainment

  • Play an active role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification (Level 4 or above) is essential

  • Experience working within a primary school setting

  • Confident in covering whole classes independently

  • Strong communication and organisational skills
