Job Description:

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant in Romford, you will play a key role in supporting teachers and helping to enhance the learning experience for students. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Job Duties:

  • Assisting in planning and delivering lessons
  • Providing one-on-one support to students
  • Managing classroom behaviour
  • Supporting the teacher in assessing student progress
  • Supervising group activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience working in a classroom setting
  • Strong communication and organisational skills

Education:

Minimum of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

Experience:

Prior experience working in a classroom environment

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Good understanding of the national curriculum
  • Ability to work effectively with students of varying abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Specialist training in a specific subject area
  • First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

This is a temporary position based in Romford, Greater London. You will be expected to work full-time hours during term time. The role may involve some additional hours for extracurricular activities or parent meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
