Job Duties:

  • Assist in delivering learning activities under the supervision of a qualified teacher
  • Support individual students or small groups in the classroom
  • Help with the preparation of teaching materials and resources
  • Supervise students during activities and break times
  • Provide feedback to teachers on student progress

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

Education:

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Experience:

Prior experience working in a school environment

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of the national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Patience and empathy when working with students

Preferred Qualifications:

First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a classroom setting within a school environment. The work hours are typically during regular school hours, with occasional additional hours for school events or activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
