Higher Learning Teaching Assistant

A motivated Higher Learning Teaching Assistant is required to support students’ academic progress and engagement. Working under the guidance of teaching and senior staff, you will deliver targeted support, assist in planning, and help students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Support the delivery of high-quality learning in class and small groups.

Work with subject teachers and SEN staff to monitor progress and provide feedback

Contribute to enrichment, intervention, and extension programmes.

Promote high expectations and positive learning behaviour.

Essential Criteria

Previous experience supporting students in a secondary setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Flexible, proactive, and committed to student achievement.

Willingness to engage in professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
