Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in health and social care subjects
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing feedback and support
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and student learning experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Health and Social Care or related field

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject

Experience:

  • Previous experience teaching health and social care subjects
  • Experience working with students of varying abilities

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of health and social care curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage students in learning

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or relevant subject
  • Experience in curriculum development

Working Conditions:
