Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in Health and Social Care, incorporating relevant theories, case studies, and practical applications.

  • Stay updated with developments in the healthcare and social care sectors to enhance teaching content and provide relevant real-world examples.
  • Encourage and promote student involvement in extracurricular activities related to health and social care.

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification in Health and Social Care.
  • Proven experience teaching Health and Social Care at secondary level.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of the healthcare and social care sectors.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students, fostering a love for learning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Organizational skills to plan and deliver lessons effectively within the allocated time frame.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

Salary and Benefits: The salary for this position ranges from £155 to £250 per day, depending on qualifications and experience.
