Health & Social Care Support Worker – School Setting

About the Role:
You will play a key role in supporting students with a range of needs, including medical, personal care, emotional regulation, and day-to-day wellbeing. Working closely with teachers, pastoral leads, and external agencies, you will help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every young person can succeed.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Providing daily care and wellbeing support to pupils

Supporting students with personal care, mobility, or medical needs (training provided)

Building positive, trusting relationships with young people

Supporting behaviour, emotional regulation, and social development

Working collaboratively with staff and families to ensure student needs are met

Helping create a calm, structured learning environment
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
-
Has experience in Health & Social Care, youth work, support work or SEND
-
Is patient, empathetic and confident supporting vulnerable young people
-
Can work well within a team and follow safeguarding procedures
-
Is resilient, proactive and committed to improving young people’s lives
-
(Desirable) Holds a Level 2/3 qualification in Health & Social Care or similar

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
