The Role
As the Head of Science, you will be responsible for the strategic direction and daily operational excellence of a large, successful faculty. You will lead a diverse team of subject specialists to ensure that teaching and learning remain world-class.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Define and implement a vision for the Science faculty that inspires both staff and students.

Curriculum Oversight: Ensure a rigorous and engaging curriculum across KS3, GCSE, and A-Level (Triple and Combined Science).

People Management: Mentor, coach, and develop a team of teachers—from ECTs to experienced Lead Teachers—fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.

Results-Driven: Use data-led insights to monitor student progress and implement effective interventions to maintain "Outstanding" outcomes.
